The Chick-fil-A brand has always been a personal favorite. Growing up in the south afforded me the opportunity to eat at the local Chick-fil-A restaurant down the street. It was always a place to gather with friends and family for meals or snacks. I began working at Chick-fil-A as a young student in Cary, North Carolina for operator Rick Holcombe. I was initially interested in working at Chick-fil-A because it seemed like a place where young people could given real business experience. I observed several of my peers in leadership positions, holding real responsibility within the business. In addition, Chick-fil-A was a work environment unlike any other. The people were nice, cared for one another and the leadership was authentic and genuine.
