Since the beginning, it is clear that big food companies are collaborating with toy companies to gain money from children who are attracted to the advertisements. These companies only chose young kids to aim their commercials at them because they know kids are easily convinced. There are multiple researches based on the reasons behind these companies' advertisements. Since the first commercials companies aimed for children to gain profit anyway, they could. Every year the advertisements have grown stronger, and have a stronger aim at kids. Since technology has grown, it has helped advertisers created more animated commercials to attract the children of today's world. A 2013 report suggested that both McDonald's and Burger King had begun focusing their marketing towards children again. So many kids beg their parents for anything they see on television with their favorite character in the commercial. A research group found randomly selected ads to 100 children aged tree to seven. Companies lie and say they have stopped selling to kids, but look at the commercials. During commercials, the main thing being shown off is the character within the advertisement, instead of the actual product they are selling which is food. Even with their so-called promise, they still try to appeal to a child. Once they were first caught doing this, they backed off for a while. Now these companies are growing once again finding new ways to gain views on their advertisements.
