Kids can start a habit of growing brand loyalties as young as the age of as young as 2 years old. Advertisers will try to do many things to make kids buy their products. They use bold colors and cartoon characters. They put their message on toys and favorite Television shows. They blanket their message so much that they make the kids dream, think, and breathe the product. Advertising is a 2 billion dollar industry. This topic is very controversial as to whether or not these advertisers should be allowed to use these methods on kids. These techniques make these handfuls gullible kids great targets for advertisers. Set aside the controversy, let's talk about how these companies are able to do this.
Fast food companies use colors and characters to get kids to buy their products and get their advertising into kids heads and make them act a certain way to a certain product brand. A good example of a company

“Food Myth Busters” are a group of people who are trying to stop some of these companies in the fast food industry. They are saying how it can really affect the health of these young curious kids. They have a video on this in the point of view of a parent. This video talks about how kids become really into the products that they advertise and kids can become brand loyal from all the commercials they see. Even if the parent does not allow their child to watch television, they see the marketing messages on billboards and in other mediums. Marketing has even made its way into schools. They are trying to prove a point that has been talked about for ages. Marketing is powerful and can be used to get kids hooked on unhealthy choices, such as food with high fat, high sugar content and saturated fat, a type of extremely processed fat. Obesity and diabetes are becoming a problem. They did show how people are starting to overcome this problem in many places and how they are getting
