The principles and values relevant to factors which affect a child's physical and language development, include ensuring that the practice is child centred, as this will result in then being able to reach their full potential while within the setting.
One of the first values for when a child's development has been affected, is to put the child first, as we have a duty of care towards them. The student will be able to receive full care, having all of their needs being met, as these plans will explain what their needs are, and how to fulfil them. This can then allow for teachers, and other professionals, working with them to know what is expected from them, and so act accordingly. It also helps for the teachers to know which professionals the student might need, and who they might need to get in touch
