Argument Case Manager

The second argument is who are case managers because everyone at the facility can act as a case managers (Challis and Davis, 1986). Each member wants the best for the patient and may suggest beneficial programs for the patient. One may argue that case managers are not needed because anyone involved in helping the patient/client can be a case manager. The final argument is the control over resources. Case managers connect clients to sources that will benefit the client but sometimes case workers do not have the power to link their client to the program. Programs have rules and certain requirements must be met. The case manager does not regulate rules and terms for other organizations. The lack of control can create a problem with helping the
