My goal is to become a Registered Nurse. “Registered nurses (RNs) care for patients and educate them on health issues to prevent future illnesses. Along with technical skills necessary for the medical profession, RNs must have people skills to work closely with patients and their families. Becoming a RN entails formal education from a state-approved nursing school, and state licensure” .http://study.com/articles/RN_Educational_Requirements_to_Become_a_Registered_Nurse.html. The educational requirements for an RN can require up to three things. You could either get a Bachelor of Science degree (BSN) and/or Associate’s Degree (ADN) and a diploma in a nursing program. The best one to have is the BSN, because the BSN is a degree in which you attend college for at least 4 years, and learn more than what you would in two years with a ADN. More achievements can be made with a BSN than with an ADN. Although, no matter which one you have you are still required to pass a state board test called the NCLEX-RN. Legal documents you must have to be a RN are back ground checks, you must be finger printed and have it sent to the FBI, and you must be able to pass drug test at any given time.
The skills of an RN can be difficult. They are in control of way more than what nursing assistants and practical nurses are. To be an RN you must be a good listener and able to pay attention to patients and families of the patient. You must be able to give good clear instructions to other workers and…
