Typically anyone who wishes to go into the nursing field is required to first do nursing school then, specialize at the hospital in what they really want to do. For me this is Pediatrics, I have always loved kids and it makes me so sad to see a child or anyone for that matter in pain. So, to begin my career I would first have to enroll into college or nursing school. I would then pursue and receive an associate's degree, and from there begin my search for a job. Nurses must have many skills and require knowledge that some may not have and may not wish to pursue. Nurses; for example, must have knowledge in Medicine and Dentistry, Customer and Personal Service, Psychology, and the English Language. The skills they require is also very extensive as well, Active listening, Social Perceptiveness, Service Orientation, Speaking, and coordination. Although no one should let simple things that they may easily require stop them for pursuing a career they may enjoy, nursing is not for everyone.
