What do the HEUs do?

Convert the analogue into digital for both audio and control signals and vice versa

ensures the relevant frequency tuning of the antenna

What do the Filler Units do?

attenuates the radio frequency signal received when any other radio is transmitting

enables comms with satellites whatever their position. It is located on the top left side of the Tail boom

What does the RT5000 do?

provides normal encrypted two way voice and data comms. the transceiver provides air to air and air to ground comms.
