If schools were able to start classes later in the morning, schools will see boosts in attendance, test scores, grades, and in core classes. 75% of schools start before 8;30 am, researchers also tested 9,000 students in eight schools. After they adjusted schools to start at 9:00, a week later all schools reported having a boost of attendance, test scores and participation. If these eight schools reported having these results, just imagine the results the whole nation will have.
In conclusion, school should start later in the morning. By starting school later, this will increase our health, attendance, and student’s test scores. It will help us boost our confidence academically and help us succeed in our full potential.
