Abortion Inhumane

Annually, 46 million babies die from abortion worldwide. That’s approximately one baby being aborted every two seconds (Bound4Life, 2009) . Despite how inhumane, abortion has somehow become the newest, accepted version of contraception. It is more than obvious that murder is on the top of the list when it comes to nefarious crimes. With that being said, how is it that the act of aborting live, developing infants is not considered a crime in all states? All lives matter! There are multiple reasons as to why abortions should be deemed heinous and illegal. There are two procedures; surgical and chemical. Neither one of these gruesome methods have been proven to be painless, in fact, it has been proven that the fetus feels everything that …show more content…
It may say seem like the only way out, but how does an abortion truly effect a woman? After undergoing the procedure it has been proven that a vast amount of women have obtained psychological damage. A study of the medical records of 56,741 California Medicaid patients revealed that women who had abortions were 160 percent more likely than delivering women to be hospitalized for psychiatric treatment in the first 90 days following abortion or delivery (afterabortion.org, 2010) . Severe Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Insomnia, regret and suicidal ideation are just a few to name. The emotional toll that the loss of a child can bring upon a mother is endless. Despite what some may believe, a woman becomes a mother the moment she realizes that she is pregnant. She is not exempt from the distress that comes along with the loss of a child. There are few people and or organizations that feel that abortions actually do some …show more content…
This is completely understandable because there are some things that a person must have in this world. One of those needs is power. It is said that when a reproductive choice is left up to a woman, she feels empowered; which is something she may rarely feel living in a “Man’s World.” Stated on abortion.procon.org, people argued that, life begins after the fetus can survive outside the womb. Regardless of what opinions one may have the fact still remains that abortion is murder. Murder; the killing of another human being, is number 6 out of the 10 commandments, stating that thou shalt not kill. It is said that life doesn’t start until that first breath is taken, but it is clearly stated in Psalm 139:13 this has no truth. Once an embryo begins to take formation within the belly of the mother chosen, life commences. Every life matters, despite how long that life has been lived. Abortions should never be an option when it comes to contraception. The indescribable pain an innocent baby endures, the unnecessary psychological damage abortions have on a mother, and the deliberate disobedience of The Lord, Our Savior with the execution of murder, is enough within itself to make anyone question the true legality of abortions. Let’s take a stand and opt to deem abortions illegal, before these very acts of murder destroy all of the little lives we may never get to

How could you kill an innocent child for your own actions? How could you deny an innocent life because having a baby is not in your favor? Just like Jason Ladock, an expert author and administrator in Health Guidance, said “After all, abortion implies denying someone a well-deserved life. Just because the odds are not in our favor, can we deprive someone the chance to live?” Abortion should not be a choice; you should have to suffer the consequences for your own actions. When someone kills an expecting mother, the murderer is charged with double homicide.…

Groothius insists that because a fetus is a human person, the process of an abortion is equivalent to murder. Groothius states “all unnecessary and intentional life-taking is murder, a deeply evil and repugnant offense against human beings” (2). A fetus may have the capability of becoming a developed, conscious human, however having an abortion is not equivalent to murder. The unborn relies entirely on the mother for its existence and development, therefore the mother deserves the right to decide whether or not the fetus may reside within her. A women should not be called a murderer if she chooses to remove what she’s unwillingly grown within herself.…

In addition, “A 2002 peer-reviewed study published by the Southern Medical Journal of more than 173,000 American women found that women who aborted were 154% more likely to commit suicide than women who carried to term (par. 13).” A lot of people also argue that instead of having an abortion due to financial and personal reasons, a woman should give birth, so the couples who cannot have babies get the chance to adopt. Also, the legalization of abortion sends a wrong message to masses because it devalues a life of a human being. I believe abortion should not be permitted because every person contributes to our society in a positive and a negative way. According to Heisman Trophy-winning…

“Unborn babies at 20 weeks of development actually feel pain more intensely than adults.”(Concerned for Life) Tough it is hard to keep a baby and financially support it the fetus can feel since the nerves are developed during first few weeks of the first trimester. There are different ways of having an abortion; such as saline injection. This is used when the fetus is 4 months, the saline is injected into the baby sac and the fetus swallows it and acts as a poison; after an hour the baby usually dies and labor will happen within a 24 hour period. When the baby is delivered it is most likely dead or in a process of dying. When the fetus is able to breath, it is able to feel, having abortion and causing intense pain to the baby is inhumane for abortion to be…

Participating in abortion makes the action murder. An article by Enjiden agrees by stating, “…some authors believe that killing a baby will always be morally unsupportable. They argue that even if relieving the unbearable suffering of a neonate could be condoned, the “unbearable” quality of the suffering – which is intrinsically subjective – can never be ensured”. This confirms beliefs that abortions are immoral and brings unbearable feelings of discomfort to the fetus. Critics also argue that engaging in abortion punishes innocent humans.…
