Should High School Start At a Later Time?
Today in the United States of America many high schools are starting before 8:30AM and that should change. Imagine a high school teen walking down the hall looking like a zombie imagine how energetic that student would be with more sleep. School should start at 10:30Am in the morning to give teens a little more sleep instead of always being tired.
America should start school later because if you look at a sixteen year old student that doesn't get much sleep on a daily basis and look at that student's grades you can guarantee that the grades aren't all A’s and B’s. That is because without sleep a student's mind isn't fully operational yet. So they are

This is another reason school should be started later than 7:30am and should start around 10:00am to give high school students that extra three hours of sleep that they need because they are too busy focusing on other things at night time to go to bed when it is the appropriate time to lay down and go to sleep. Now if school was started around 10:00am then students wouldn't have to worry about getting up to an alarm every morning that is why school should start later in the day.
If we take a trip to the other point of view many people think that it's a bad idea to have school go all year. For certain reason example many teenagers think it is a bad idea since school would then go year round with three week vacations and nothing more then going. Back to school for another two months. “The most popular form of year-round education is the 45-15” (Research Spotlight on Year Round School). And there other thoughts that many teens won't even change their sleeping pattern or that some teens don't even want to wake up at 10Am. But then there are teens saying that if they have more sleep they will focus and there test and grade scores will rise.
My conclusion is that if school is started at a later time then the problem of sleep deprivation can start to come to a stop and we can more energetic teens and we can have better test scores
