Why do I want to be a Teacher?

Teachers have multiple roles in today’s society, and it is upsetting when the teachers out in classrooms do not want to be with their students. The way that teachers hold themselves in the classroom can deeply affect their education, as well as their self-worth from the time when they are in the teacher’s classroom further on, and so it is imperative that they desire to be with their students and desire to make a positive impact. This is one thing that I personally am excited for with becoming an elementary teacher, and I am excited for so much more. I am going to bring games into learning and constantly keep a positive outlook in my classroom. Having a positive outlook in school is going to help kids enjoy learning much more than those who dislike being in school. This could help set up my students for a lifelong journey of learning that is going to help them enjoy life more! Lastly, I wish to teach. I have a passion for teaching that I discovered when I was a junior in high school. I want to keep using this gift to help others, and to set the up to do great things in the world. Teaching is what brings everything else that I want to do together. So, there are so many reasons why I want to become a teacher. I want to make a positive impact on my students, and want to be a positive role model for them. I want to help them develop a positive self-image and self-esteem. I want to teach them important life-lessons, I want to bring joy into my classroom, and lastly, I want to teach! I am really excited for the opportunities that are in front of me.
