It’s not easy to change. At times in life it’s necessary to change something we many not necessarily want to change. I for one, am very stubborn. When I get comfortable and settled into a routine, I like to stay in it. While reading Who Moved My Cheese I understand exactly how these poor mice felt. They knew if they kept running down the different corridors eventually they would find that delicious cheese. The very thing they searched endlessly for. When they found it, they were so happy and able to relax and savor the cheese, life was good for them then. However, running around through the maze looking for the cheese not finding it caused them to panic. When the cheese disappears what do we do? The book Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson (2002) tells the tale of two mice and two human like creatures that like cheese. Sniff and Scurry are the two mice creatures and Hem and Haw are the two human like creatures. Everyday Sniff and Scurry ran through the maze searching for their cheese. They always followed the same route and one day they noticed their cheese supply was getting smaller. Him and Haw however, decided they could take their time getting to cheese. After all, it was always right where they left it. They were so used to always finding the cheese they built their entire world around it. One day their cheese was gone.
