• Diversity Management in General:
Goal: The Westfield Group is committed to diversity and seeks to promote an inclusive culture where people are encouraged to succeed to the best of their ability.
Diversity is about recognizing and valuing the contribution of people from different backgrounds, with different perspectives and experiences. Diversity includes but is not limited to gender, age, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion and cultural background.

Despite many challenges, the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community has flourished throughout the years. They are increasingly powerful voice in society and Westfield is one of the companies open and friendly to LGBT people and LGBT employees is also tend to build a positive image of the LGBT community in the workplace (The Westfield, 2014). Besides, the posts still negative views about LGBT people, they are often equated and that LGBT people is a social evil. So often LGBT employees frequently isolated at work and cannot be open about his personal life if do not want to lose their jobs. Psychological pressure to hide sexual orientation and gender identity, as well as concerns about personal safety do somewhat reduced their productivity.
