Now children from all ages are spending hours every day playing video games, and parents are still struggling to figure out why kids are spending so much time on it. Some one that never played a video games is going to sound like a waste of time sitting there for hours, but for others gamers is the only way to get entertainment because player become a part of the game. Many children are getting in their full development and wants to belong or feel that relate to something important and video games gives the opportunity to become a part of it. Children enjoy the chance to experience of being powerful and famous through a games and doing things that cannot do in real life. Also video games are challenging, there are some video games difficult to finish and to resolve the problem, but for some reason kids loves challenging …show more content…
Since videogames have the capacity to engage children in learning experience this could be the best sources to attract the attention of a child. According to Alshaiji, Ohoud state that“The use of digital media has shaped our lives and the way we live and interact with others. Children are no exclusion to his rule. Today’s children of all ages are living in a high media influenced environment with access to a variety of digital electronic devices which are accessible both at home and elsewhere including school. They spend most of their leisure time interacting with computes and playing video games” (123) which this mean that now very young children are already with the phone or laptop playing video games. People who argue against video games on the ground of violence and desensitization misunderstand the attitude of children toward video games and imply that humans are no more complicated.
