Most parents usually consider toys for their children as time-wasters and entertainers. In a child’s life, “Toys” form a very significant part of their everyday life. It challenges them in different ways. Some of the good ways are by interacting with other children, learning new things and activating their imagination. These interests are very good in the development of a child’s life but at the same time, it can also cause damage. One of the a negative effect on the child’s life, for instance is spending too much time and not doing their homework or staying inside just to play and sit around day and night. The specific electronic games that can cause a big problem in a child’s mind PlayStation, Wii, DS, tablets, etc… Kids that are involved …show more content…
When this happens the kid will be less likely to make friends because the kid has nothing to talk about and will feel as no one understands them. For instance, I have two nephews at home and when they see me after they come from school, the first thing they ask is if they can play with their tablet or DS. They come with happiness and an emotion that they will have their toys in their hands when they get home. They will never think about if they have homework. They take their electronic devices and get stock themselves in their rooms until I call them to eat or to do their homework. Electronic games can makes children learn how to follow instructions, find ways on how to solve problems, develop quick thinking on making decisions, having a good memory, concentrate on their main goals, multitasking, etc… At the same time, children using electronic games can develop violence, depression, isolation and make physical damages to their bodies. To avoid those problems to those children, parent should be more aware of what things they allow their children to use and have a good time with because at the end of the day every child should enjoy their childhood in a moderate to enjoy their free
