The article itself was very well written and demonstrates Bruni’s understanding of the material. He uses a large variety of vocabulary from words such as linchpin, rouse, ambitious, and status-obsessed. Using vocabulary like this appeals to logos and ethos, as well by persuading the reader into believing he is credible by using logic and ethics. Bruni writes in such a way that the article flows very well without any issues. These teens experience the effects of sleep deprivation on the daily and are easily persuaded to believe Bruni’s ideas relating to needing more sleep. From a teenager’s point of view, sleep is often hard to come by. Media is just another factor that sends the amount of sleep one gets to a screeching halt.
