In the article, Bruni addresses the lack of sleep college and high school students obtain due to high anxiety. Bruni states that this anxiety is due to working about “acing the exam, burnishing the transcript, keeping up with high-achieving peers.” This is true and I know having been a high school student and now currently a college student. Almost everyone I talk to is stressed about something in college. The homework we have to do in college its overwhelming. When I was in high school I was overwhelmed at times too, but no this much. The best comparison of high school to college I can give is this. High school is like a gentle breeze on a mid summers day while college is a massive hurricane that never stops. You’ll get a break in the storm, but it’s so minuscule it doesn’t matter. I don't mean to alarm anyone and I recommend you still go to college, but don't come in thinking it’s a walk in the park because you don’t have classes everyday.
