Employee engagement is the relationship between organization and their employees. And also it can define as the “Employee contribution to the betterment of the company”.

There are 3 types of employees in “Employee Engagement”.

1) Engaged Employees

 Engaged Employees are the employees that are emotionally and intellectually committed to the organization or team success. Features
 They have clear understanding about their job requirements.
 Their performance level is high.
 They are passionate about their work life.

2) Not Engaged Employees

 Not Engaged Employees are the employees who are there to collect a paycheck. There is no passion or excitement in their work. They do not volunteer or take on projects or anything extra

They spend a great deal of time being negative in meetings on the phone and even worse with clients or customers. They take up managers time complaining or convincing team members why something won’t work. Features
 They are wasting time in the organization without doing anything.
 They are not concern about the success of the organization.
 Their absenteeism is high.

Human Resource Management is Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling human resources to achieve organization’s goals efficiency and effectively.
There are basic functions in Human Resource Management. Those are,
i. Staffing ii. Training and Development iii. Motivation iv. Maintenance

By using these functions organization can convert “Not Engaged” and “Actively Disengaged” employees to “Engaged” employees.

1) Staffing

Staffing is the process of selection and training of the candidates. It means by staffing it’s appoint right person to the right job at right time by right manner. These are the important steps in the staffing.
