Being a healthcare facility, employee engagement for CVS hopes to increase patient satisfaction and increase productivity if the facility. Employee engagement in health care facility entails more than just satisfying the employees of the facility and making them happy it also entails making the emotional commitment that employees have to the hospital and its goals. Study’s on employee engagement conducted by the National Health Service revealed that for a10% increase in employee engagement, there is a reduction in MRSA, a skin condition that is life threatening, by 0.057 cases for every 10,000 bad days (5 Ways to Improve Healthcare Employee Engagement). Timeline
Day 1-Day 30
The first thirty days of the employee engagement plan will be dedicated to a fact finding. The process will focus on three key aspects (1) identifying the reasons as to why there is law employee engagement in the organization (2) seek employee suggestions on strategies that can be done to improve employee engagement (3) develop an employee engagement strategy that incorporates employee ideas. This is an attempt to incorporate employee engagement activities into the culture of the facility. The second aspect of the employee engagement plan will provide employees with training on essential supervisor skills. Training the health care providers at the hospital serves to improve their knowledge which in turn helps to improve their confidence and thus the employee takes a more engaged role within the organization.
