Mick was born on July 26, 1943 in Dartford, Kent, England as Michael Philip Jagger. He was raised in a middle-class home by his parents, Joe and Eva Jagger, in what he thought was a protected environment ("Jagger" 1). In what would be an extremely significant person later on in his life, at five years old Jagger met Keith Richards, future band mate, on the playground at primary school. They went to separate schools but would meet later on and make a massive stature in music for generations to come ("Jagger" 2). In 1962, Mick graduated from Dartford Grammar School. Then, on a government grant, he went to college at the London School of Economics ("Jagger" 2). Similarly, Harry Edward Styles was born in Evesham, England but raised in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994. Like Mick, Harry was raised in a middle class home by parents Anne Cox and Des Styles, who divorced when he was seven ("One" 3). Styles attended Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. With Cowell's management team, One Direction created their first single, "What Makes You Beautiful", which broke the spell of British boy bands having trouble breaking America ("One" 1). Their debut album, "Up All Night", was one of the fastest selling albums of all time. One Direction received many attainments extremely early in their career. Unlike Mick, Styles had social media to use to his advantage to engage with fans and get his band's name out there. Social media was a major key to One Direction's success to which the Stones did not have access ("One" 1). Ever since the X-Factor in 2010, One Direction has had an unyielding gruesome schedule. For example, they have released five albums, had four world tours, three movies, four books and did promotions for each of these things. In the summer of 2015, One Direction announced that they were going on a hiatus in 2016 and credited their unrelenting schedule (Patrick 1). Mick and Harry have had tons of success, but with that came
