The Beatles were one of the most influential and distinguished bands of all time. The band members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr won many Grammys for their relatable music and lyrics. In 1964 British Beatlemania commenced at the Kennedy Airport. The Beatles arrived and 10,000 fans and 110 police officers were already there waiting for their arrival. The Beatles were so unique and popular because their lyrics were relatable and inspired other artists. The Beatles first single “Love Me Do” was released on October 5, in 1962 and was successful but their second single “Please, Please Me” was an immediate hit.
