In society, people are perceived to be a particular way or have a particular reputation or behaviour. Ethnic identities are complex and diverse and there may be many different routes that may influence the outcomes. My colleagues will be used in the research project and with their permission will be asked to complete a questionnaire. By doing this I will be looking at whether it is the care agencies that may be causing the barriers and not the people trying to access the care. This is a sensitive subject and using a homecare agency and having to take the step of realising that you may need help is not taken lightly for anyone.
