1. What do you find to be the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job would have to be we I hear of people talking about my product or see someone eating a product that they would not have had without me. It makes me feel happy to know that without me that person would not be enjoying the product that they are currently eating or talking about.

2. What is your least favorite part of your job?

My least favorite part of the job would be the long hours. Being the owner of a small business takes up a lot of my time meaning that often times the sales portion of my job is put at strange times as well. I once had a sales call at 9pm that lasted until 2pm on a Wednesday night because that was the time this client was

How do you deal with call reluctance?

I sometimes experience call reluctance if I have had a couple rejections in a row. I make you not want to go to the next call because you believe that they will just say no as well. In order to get over it I tend to try and stay positive, try and make sure my presentation is going to be perfect and just have a positive attitude about the whole ordeal. If a customer sees that you are reluctant or unhappy to be there they are more likely to say no which just causes a spy role.

4. What do you keep in mind when you go on a sales call?

When Albert Knight was training me he always said this one saying and it has stuck with me even twenty years after “Our competition knows the value of our product and so do we”. I personally am not very good at remembering names and can become very shy when meeting a new person. I fear that I would loose my train of thought. Which could possibly make both the possible client and myself feel extremely uncomfortable during the presentation. I also am in school for marketing so I plan on entering a career that is more focused on either research marketing or advertising. I believe that if you like meeting new people and they are good at convincing people to do things you would be able to thrive in a business-to-business sales
