Don’t Fret be an Ultra Tech
1.The career I am researching is an Ultrasound Technician or also known as a Sonographer. An Ultrasound Technician uses a machine that uses high frequency waves to see organs or unborn children. I have choose this career because it is something I would enjoy to wake up to everyday, and not worry about an agonizing day ahead. Although there is some downsides, this is the career I want to pursue. There is many requirements to go into this field choice. You have to take classes in psychology, biology, ultrasound techniques, and anatomy. You need many skills to go in this job like coordination, picking up on things quickly, operating heavy machinery, social perceptiveness, and many others (my majors.com). 5.There are a few colleges near …show more content…
I will have to be able to get the equipment ready, and make sure the patient feels comfortable. This job also requires you to deliver news to the patient and their family. Whether the news is good like the gender of their child, or they have cancer. I will have to be able to deal with how they react (shmoop.com). 2.Many of the patients families can take the news hard like if their family member has cancer. They may react in a weird way like cry and hug you if no one is there with them, or they could yell at you and call you a liar. Not everyone handles these thing in the same way. If they get good news like the gender of a baby, or that they are having a baby they could smile and hug you. There is many different ways to handle these situations, and i need to be prepared for any of it (mymajors.com). 10. Money can be beneficial, but the happiness you can bring to others can last a lifetime. his job has some major satisfactions. We all know that money is a good thing to have, but to be able to give cancer free patience the good news, or new parents expecting their first kid tops it
