Employee Performance Review Paper

Improved Essays
As part of your upcoming Employee Performance Review (EPR), please complete the following questions:

How is your enthusiasm for your job, and why?

I enjoy my job and look forward to coming in every day. I enjoy that there is something new each day and that we get a chance to help our Team members grow. The main reason why I enjoy working here is the Culture.

How dedicated or focused toward your job do you feel, and why?

I feel that I probably dedicate too much of my time focusing on my job. I say this because I enjoy learning new things and since Frazer is always growing, there is always new things to learn and focus on. This keeps me motivated to keep working through the entire day, so it is hard for me to keep track of time, by the

I will say that I think our biggest accomplishment has been the paint department. I do not think anyone would believe us if we told them how many issues we would get from this department.

I will attempt to name a couple other accomplishments we have made the past 1-2 years:

All of these most likely were driven or overseen to completion by other team members.

Changing the way we seal our compartments - This project took a while and probably did not get completed as quickly as we would have hoped.
Tool carts
Changing the way we schedule fabrication (hanging the travelers)
Stopping signing off on books after a station has completed their work- People were spending about 1-2 hours going back trying to figure out who worked on the unit.
Created a ship loose items rack in the striping and lettering building
Moved from installing grip tape in the floor station to the detail station - The grip tape was being removed and a new strip was being applied while doing the detail work because it would get damaged on every

It is difficult to manage a large number of people without being the one who has direct contact with every situation that comes up. I can say that my goal is to teach everyone here at Frazer (to the best of my ability) how to address situations with his/her team members that come up.

Are you currently struggling or “on the fence” about whether an employee in your department is going to work out or is a good fit for Frazer, and why?

I think you will always have someone you question. This is true for the time being because we are still learning who we are as a Team and what we are looking for. I do believe that with time as with everything else this will not even be a question. I will say my biggest struggle with this is mainly because we have so many Team members that keep raising the bar and setting new (higher) expectations.

How satisfied are you with your personal growth relative to your position in the company?

I do not think I will ever be satisfied with my personal growth because I do not look at this as something that needs to ever slow down or stop. I do think that I have learned a lot in the past 2 years I have been in my position, but I always feel like I can do better and

    Trader Bees Case Study

One important group that I recently joined was the group of employees at my local Trader Joes (A supermarket). Trader Joes has a hierarchical structure; the “Captain” is the head manager, the “Mates” are supervisors/managers and the “Crew Members” are the general employees. While these levels have direct power over each other, there is an informal group of crew members that I would consider senior crewmembers. These are crew members that have been working at the store for a long time and end up having more responsibilities. They are paid more (your wage increases the longer you are with the company) and some of them have been offered (and turned down) manager positions.…

For millennials, humans have become irrefutably superior compared to their apelike forbears by means of physical prowess and mental agility. From the early nomads who constantly traveled and foraged in search for food sources, humans quickly adapted to the practice of growing crops, agriculture. Agriculture led to the settlement of larger, more organized groups who were able to farm and create a surplus of food supply. This revolutionary advance altered the way in which humans lived together and paved the way for the splendors of civilization. In the article “The Worst Mistake in the History of the Human Race”, Jared Diamond claims that agriculture, which had facilitated humans’ jobs and brought great technological advances to the world, was…

Many people come into college feeling unprepared, nervous, and unconfident, and while being convinced that I was indeed prepared, I couldn’t help but feel some of these stressful emotions. Over the past month and a half, I have adapted to my new environment that is Pacific Lutheran University (PLU), and feel much more sure of myself as I continue through this semester. I have learned about what skills and mindsets can lead to a successful college experience, such as hope, grit, and resilience. I have also been able to reflect on myself as a person, and identify strengths, values, and abilities I possess that I can use to my advantage. Finally, I have learned about different resources I have surrounding me, and different aspects of PLU that…
