Time doesn’t stop, day-by-day people get closer to their deaths. Everybody dies but not everybody live their lives to become legends. Many presidents have led the United States of America, some have been great leaders for the country, while others weren’t so virtuous. One of the utmost presidents that have led U.S. to great success at its time is Abraham Lincoln. Till this day he is known as one of the greatest American presidents, but at his time of his election no one predicted Lincoln’s success. Lincoln was born in Kentucky February 12, 1809. He moved to Indiana in 1816 and lived there on behalf of his childhood days. On a bad note, his mother died when he was only 9 years old. “The event was devastating on him and young Abraham grew more alienated from his father and quietly resented the hard work placed on him at an early age.” (Rexposed). Only a few months passed after his mother’s death passed till his father married Lincoln’s stepmom. Lincoln quickly became very close to his stepmother who encouraged him to read. Lincoln himself specified that he only had about a year of formal education. Nevertheless, many distinctive individuals educated him. Lincoln loved to read and learn any books that he got his hands on. Being 6 feet and 4 inches tall, Lincoln was muscular and physically strong.
