How do I not let the small things get to me and stress me out?
Tell what you knew: “Being in control of your life and having realistic expectations about your day-to-day challenges are the keys to stress management, which is perhaps the most important ingredient to living a happy, healthy and rewarding life,” was once said by Marilu Henner, an American actress. Starting sports was one of the best decisions I’ve made throughout my life. Sports have given me so many great opportunities and have become a big part of my life, but it has also caused a lot of pain and stress in my life. Some nights I have woken up at times, such as 2:00 or 2:30 in the morning, and I start reviewing what I need to know for the test the next day. I also sometimes procrastinate with my homework, which leads up to me staying up really late to finish it and I lose sleep, or I just wait until the next day during Raider Enrichment or my study hall fifth hour. I think this is one thing that causes so much stress with school, but I would like to figure out what my problem is with getting so stressed out all the time because it is not just school work that stresses me out. If there is something not right in my life where someone is mad at me, I am not doing the greatest in sports, or I am behind with completing a task I am supposed to do for one of the clubs I take part in, I can go crazy in the head for a few
