Marquis & Huston (2015) state that HCAHPS survey is the first national, standardized, publically reported survey of patients’ perspectives of hospital care. We all have learned how important HCAHPS scores are because they can determine how well a hospital does. If a facility has low scores or bad reviews the public may be less likely to go there for medical help or even refuse to go there if in real distress. As nurses we should do everything we can to keep our patients happy, so when they go home and complete their HCAHPS survey the individual will hopefully give a perfect score. There one thing we have to remember is there will always be patients out there that are hard to deal with
