Constitution
The constitution is what forms and keeps the government in order. According to Law 101, “Constitutional law defines the relations between the president and congress and between the federal government and the states, and it regulates the government’s ability to assess taxes, to build highways, to maintain and deploy the armed forces and to print stamps” (Feinman, 9). What Feinman is trying to say with this is that both the government and the states are run by the constitutional law. Constitutional law’s purpose is to translate and use the U.S constitution. The constitution consists of 7 articles and 27 amendments. The 27 amendments include the bill of rights. The constitution provides citizens with certain rights and freedoms in the U.S. The constitutional law is very unique. According to law 101, there’s four reasons to why it’s different. First, the constitution has several laws that work together. They come together to form the government and allow the government to function certain ways. The constitution not only helps forma a bond between the states and the government, but it also establishes a bond between the citizens and the government. The constitutional law allows the government to have certain powers and rights, while still limiting their capabilities. In other words, if the government decides to do something they will have to run it by the constitution first. The government will not be able to go against the…
