Are the odds really in your favor? For Katniss Everdeen, they're against her. In the novel ‘The Hunger Games’ by Suzanne Collins, there are an abundant amount of characters with great backgrounds and different personalities. She encompasses several amazing people such as Katniss Everdeen, who is a brave and charming girl. In the book, Collins explains the hardships and life of Katniss. While she has to fight to the death with other kids, the Capital is just watching as the entire game rolls on. The Capital is doing this because several years before hand, the districts rebelled against them, and they were not to happy about that, so they did something about it, The Hunger Games was to remind everyone what they had done, and that the Capital were the only people in charge, and could do anything they wanted. Katniss is pulled into the hunger games, with another boy from her district, Peeta, by her side. They fight for their lives, and end up actually helping people out. The Capital had been doing this for seventy three years

A definite conjecture is that Katniss can relate to this quote very well because after the Hunger Games, she must feel very accomplished, yet broken up into a million pieces. She is very brave, but she did probably fall apart during the whole thing, so she is going to need to put herself back together. And even though she gets back home with her sister, she still has a lot of broken pieces from playing in the Hunger Games. Actually, everyone who ever won in the Hunger Games can relate to this. Take Haymitch Abernathy for example, he did win the hunger games but still had a serious drinking problem. With time, Katniss should be put back together and
