Teens always get up early in the morning to get to school feeling, sleep deprived but due to research that “teenagers actually need more sleep than younger kids, not less.”(Dr. Mary Carskadon, 2). Shows us that we either push back school time or that we have an time limit of using technology at night, each of their own have an repercussion.
For example of we push back school time, attendance would be better, grades would be higher.Students would be more alert during the school day, they would process what the teacher is saying. It proves that teens to do better if they have their rest.
In many surveys many high schoolers that school is too early “Several years ago, two Minnesota school systems changed their high school starting times, from 7:20 to 8:30 in the morning in the town of Edina, and from 7:15 to 8:40 in Minneapolis.
