In an article called “Backgrounder: Later School Start Times”, the author states that kids need a lot of sleep for performance, health, and brain development. Research shows that kids need 8 or 9 hours of sleep each night. Anne Wheaton says “getting enough sleep is important for students’ health, safety, and academic performance.”

I remember, a school bus came late to drop off the students to school because there was traffic in the morning. There will be traffic all the time even early in the morning. There is some teens using their own car to go to school. When they go to school early, it might cause of a teen car crash because they maybe very tired.
Sleep Driven or Drowsy Driven?
There are some students that are sleep diven. Students that is sleep driven is when they don’t get a lot sleep. Sleep driven is when the students are less paying attention to the class, not solving problems correctly, doesn’t cope with stress, and doesn’t retain information.
There is some students that are drowsy driven. Drowsy driven are kids have emotional and behavioral problems, have depression, poor impulse, control and violence, and health complaints. Conclusion In Conclusion, students is not getting enough sleep and they might be sleeping in class because school starts early in the morning. If school start later in the morning and the students gets enough sleep, they will focus in class and there won’t be a lot teen car
