Steve Jobs co-founded the modern technology giant Apple. He led his company through hard times and helped found todays iPhones, and iPads. He changed the way look at smartphones, and revolutionized the technology industry.

Early Life
Steven Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1995, in San Francisco, California. His biological parents were Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali, two U of Wisconsin graduates. Jobs was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs when his biological parents had given him up for adoption during infancy.
Jobs’ mother was an accountant, while his father was a Coast Guard veteran and a machinist. The Jobs live in Mountain View, California, near the area that would later be known as Silicon Valley. Growing up, Jobs and his father would work on electronics in the garage, where Jobs learned how to take apart and reconstruct electronics. Jobs was intelligent and innovative from the beginning; in fact, the school administrators wanted to skip Jobs to High School. His parents however, declined the offer. Though he was a genius at school, it was his hobby that laid the foundations of Jobs’ future.

Apple Computers
After completing High School, Jobs went to Reed College in Portland, Oregon, but quickly dropped out after 6 short months. He then spent the next 18 months dropping in on creative classes at the college. In 1974, Jobs took the position of video game designer at Atari, and left after working there for several months.
