Apple Computers Inc. has seemingly become a great force in today’s society. Regardless of where you go today, there is always at the least one person who owns an Apple product or has heard of Apple Computers. Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Computers, has left behind a legacy that will be talked and modeled by for years to come. It was no secret that Steve Jobs was just like every other in the sense that he was flawed, had a long line of weaknesses and has some less desirable traits. Verizon has two programs called Verizon Mobile Learning Academy and the Verizon Innovative App Challenge. These programs are meant to encourage students to be interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics and to increase student achievements by using technology. Verizon especially pushing these towards young girls, since woman hold such a small fraction of jobs in engineering and computing. By getting more girls interesting in those subjects it increases diversity in the workforce.
