Unlike any of the other colleges I have applied to if I go to USD I will already achieve one dream I had since I was a third grader: going to California. It may not sound like such a big dream, but to a girl who never got to travel much this is a huge deal. And not only will I be going to California, but I will be living there! The third-grade version of me is screaming of joy right now to have that chance. Another reason why USD stands out to me is because they go beyond academics and really push students to be a part of the community. As a student pursuing to be in the medical field being a part of the hospital community will be vital to my career.
