When you first finish high school most of us don’t want to continue with school, because we just finished about 12 years of it why go farther? During most of high school you here your teacher’s say how this work is nothing compared to college work, and it’s just going to be more work. I know that when I was in high school all of my teachers were saying that the only way to succeed is to go to college get a bachelors or a master’s degree in something useful that you can make vast amounts of money in. Some of the main reason people go to college is first it is a fact that if you have a higher degree in most fields you will receive higher pay. Every year we are advancing as a human race, so that means that there is always something new to learn. The world is always changing, meaning that there is going to be more things that people are going to discover, and with that happening it will be taught to the general population at some point in time. People have been known to go into retirement and go back to college just for the pure fact that they have a lot more that they can learn about. Other reason that people would get a college education is because you will have more resources available to. You will have future opportunities to actually use the knowledge you receive from school that will absolutely help you down the line. For an example I am a psychology major, but I took a personal finance class to cover a G.E.D requirement. This class teaches you about everything to do with money from how to buy a house, taxes, how the market places works, and so much more. I did not know anything about money heading into the class, this class really opened my eyes to how they stock market really works and how everything is
