Should College Get A Farther Education? Essay

When you first finish high school most of us don’t want to continue with school, because we just finished about 12 years of it why go farther? During most of high school you here your teacher’s say how this work is nothing compared to college work, and it’s just going to be more work. I know that when I was in high school all of my teachers were saying that the only way to succeed is to go to college get a bachelors or a master’s degree in something useful that you can make vast amounts of money in. Some of the main reason people go to college is first it is a fact that if you have a higher degree in most fields you will receive higher pay. Other main reasons would be just to expand one’s mind, it’s a fact that most humans want to grow and become more knowledgeable. There are so many different, and interesting reasons to attend college to get a farther education.
Like I stated earlier most people have heard or knew already that when you attend college you are more likely to make more money. It has been growing over the years but in 2013 a poll was done were they looked at some average salaries between different level of educations between people with only a high school diploma and those with bachelor’s and more. First off with no high school diploma they had a median earning of 23,000 and the highest unemployment rate. High school diploma median earing was 33,000 per year with and unemployment rate of 9.4.
