College is worth the cost “6.7% of the world has a college degree. During the past decade, the average rose by 0.78 year, in line with the 0.76-year average for the second half of the 20th century. People with college degrees increased to 6.7 percent of the population this year from 5.9 percent in 2000” (Bloomberg). College is worth the cost because you can get a better job with your college degree, you get payed more at your job because of your college degree, you get the college experience, your degree may serve multiple purposes therefore more options for a career choice.
The reason why college is worth the cost is because your degree might serve multipurpose. Before you spend the time and money to acquire a bachelor’s degree, This small list shows high-paying jobs which only require a bachelor’s degree; “Petroleum Engineer $93,000, median starting salary $157,000, median mid-career salary. Industrial Designer $42,100, median starting salary $82,300, median mid-career salary” (Bureau of Labor Statistics).
Another reason why college is worth it but because of the college experience it is shown that people who go to college not only get educated but the classes but they learn interpersonal relationships and how to communicate, They learn how to talk to strangers. It is

College may be expensive, but not going to college is even more expensive. Not only has the earnings premium of having a college degree continued to increase, but the average earnings of people without a college degree has been decreasing. “On average, a college graduate with a bachelor’s degree earned $30,000 more per year than a high school graduate, or about $500,000 more over a lifetime.” (Greenstone).
