Shake Shack: Restaurant Analysis

Established in 2011 and with a TripAdvisor Award of Excellence since, BurgerFi, a fast-food chain located in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, has grown a sizeable following for its eco-friendly design and menu. After spending a long rainy day inside, my family and I decided to beat our boredom by visiting BurgerFi, a new burger restaurant that had opened a while back in our neighborhood, for lunch. We were all enthusiastic and hungry to finally try out the new burger restaurant after having to always resort to Shake Shack or Five Guys, both of which are a considerable distance from our house compared to the few blocks from BurgerFi. At the first glance, the whole restaurant gives off a strong Shake Shack feel because of its atmosphere …show more content…
Their menu contained Burgers, Hotdogs, Sides, Custards, and Drinks. There is also a D.I.Y. option available for custom burger arrangements. A staple is the classic BurgerFi cheeseburger, at $5.47, which contains lettuce, tomato, and the secret mayonnaise-based BurgerFi sauce. The flavors of the cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and the secret sauce compliment each other well to add to the flavor of the burger. The secret sauce gave the burgers a flavor boost to change it from being familiar to being unique. The burger patties that BurgerFi uses has a particular kick to it than those from other burger joints like Shake Shack, Five Guys, or Smashburger. They did not taste as greasy or as unhealthy as the other burger restaurants.A must try is the Breakfast All Day burger, at $6.97 each, which is packed with American cheese, bacon, maple syrup, a fried egg, hash browns, grilled onions, and ketchup. This unique option combines a whole breakfast meal into one sandwich. The burgers, all with a signature brand logo stamp on the bun, are not saturated with oil or grease. Another unique must try is their special VegiFi Burgers at $7.27 each. Although BurgerFi is considered a fast-food place, it prides itself on their healthier food options compared to other burger restaurants. Filled with white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and the secret …show more content…
The employees are very friendly and, occasionally, engaged in conversations with their patrons. The workers were straightforward in answering questions I had about the menu and the restaurant showing that the brand is honest in its approach. They even prepare the food behind glass windows so that customers can see the process of their food being made. When choosing a reliable restaurant, big factors to consider are affordability, honesty, quality, and most importantly, food. BurgerFi hit the nail on all these major points with their non-greasy burgers, friendly employees, attention to detail, and reasonable

A short walk over to McDonald's reveals an assortment of food ranging from fruit parfaits to Big Macs, all costing between one and six dollars in price. If I were to buy a Bacon ClubHouse Burger, it would run me around six dollars. That burger contains 740 calories (37% of federally recommended levels), 46 grams of fat (64% of recommended levels), and 1480 milligrams of salt (62% of recommended levels). Pair that with a large soda and my bill runs about eight dollars. For the same amount of money I could walk over to Haggens and buy a pound of salmon, a bag of grapes, and pound of apples.…
