It was founded by Rich Melman and named after Melman’s late partner Marvin Magig. The second restaurant opened in Oak Brook, Illinois and two years later another one opened in Skokie, Illinois. In this restaurant you can find many different types of dishes, from appetizers to desserts. They offer a fabulous lunch menu, which has everything from soup, salad and lunch sandwiches, as well as also offering the hot pasta meals for lunch. One of my favorites is the Italian grill cheese and ham sandwich for $12.95. It includes four cheeses, prosciutto, arugula, oven dried tomatoes, on a Sicilian roll, it will melt your mouth. They also offer an affordable $9.95 special, which includes soup, or salad and a half sandwich. The lunch menu is very affordable and offers a wide …show more content…
If you do not wish to utilize the valet parking, you can park right around the corner. Parking is never an issue at this location, it’s in a safe area, and its right by the mall, so you can even go shopping after your lunch or dinner. The wait staff were very proficient, dressed professionally, white dress shirts, with black dress pants and the service was outstanding. From the minute you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted by the host, seated right away, although, during dinner time, there might be a little wait, but it’s worth it. The drinks, the meal, and the desert came out flawless, as well as the service. Even when it was time to go, the check was given to us in a timely manner. This restaurant goes the extra mile to deliver great customer service. You can even go on-line or call to make reservations, making it easier for the customer and eliminating wait times during dinner time. When we left the restaurant, the staff even said “Thank you, have a good night” making the dining experience feel even more satisfying.

You can order a la carte, but full meals average to be around $8 to $14 not including a drink. Cheese dip, which is my favorite, is the same price ($5) at both restaurants. On Sundays Margarita House offers BOGO if you bring in your church bulletin, but Los Tres Amigos offers BOGO every weeknight. Both restaurants have superb lunch specials, but Los Tres Amigos has better, cheaper lunch deals. Los Tres Amigos has more unique items on their menu compared to Margarita House.…

For the amount of money that I spent on my dinner, the portions were more than sufficient and the food was enjoyable. I loved how McAlister’s has a laid back and casual atmosphere. There are several recommendations that I would like to recommend for the McAlister 's in Cape Girardeau. To begin with, I think that the management should relay to the employees how important it is to make a good first impression. Another recommendation I would make is to make sure the floors of the restaurant are clean.…

Their salads have fresh tomatoes and don't just include the usual iceberg lettuce, but hearty leafy greens. They also give you a basket of Italian bread fresh out of the oven with something I haven't seen anywhere else--an olive oil plate with marinara sauce placed right in the middle. While I have had a few of their entrees--burgers, pizza (which is excellent), and my personal favorite, chicken parmesan--today I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. When I got my order, while the meal was good, I didn't think the meatballs were anything special. They almost seemed a bit bland to me.…
