Descriptive Essay On Texas Roadhouse

Every time I walk into Texas Roadhouse my eyes wonder over to where the rolls and their special cinnamon butter waiting to be consumed by the customer. I hear country music playing in the background, and feel peanuts crumbling under my feet like leaves on a beautiful autumn day. Without looking at the menu, my mind is already preparing my stomach for the flavorful food that I am about to encounter. Texas Roadhouse gives the Newark population somewhere local to get a great steak while getting a significate value. From personal experience most of the other steakhouses will get very pricey for a family of five making it difficult to dine at their restaurant while living on a tight budget. Texas Roadhouse also offers specials throughout the …show more content…
When you first enter you will notice a small waiting area with different license plates from a range of dates and states. Lighting is dim, but over the table lighting seemed bright, and the music is loud. They also have large taxidermy trophies, and televisions with sports programs hanging on their walls. They have a bar that is in the center of the restaurant. It is very well stocked and the bartenders have all the patrons that I have seen smiling and enjoying their time spent at the establishment. The employees are always willing to help the customers. They even move tables around for the larger parties that come to enjoy the food. Whenever certain songs play over the radio, waiters and waitresses would stop waiting on tables to participate in a line …show more content…
The smell can be compared to your first meal after eating a month of hotdogs and ramen noodles. When you consider the price and the friendly environment of the restaurant you would not expect much quality in the food. The quantity of the food depends on what you order. The customer can order either a half slab or full slab of ribs. A steak can be as small as a six ounce to a 23 ounce steak cooked to order. You can have your meat cooked from rare to well-done depending on your preference. I have only had to send my steak back once for being over cooked and dry. Management had the chefs recook my steak and gave my family a 25% discount on our bill. The quality of the children food was better than any fast food restaurant that I have experienced. With a family of five we can go to Texas Roadhouse and enjoy a quality meal for about the same price that we would spend at McDonalds. The service at the restaurant starts with a friendly hostess. The hostess takes your name and how many are in your party. The waitress then quickly calls your name and smiles and says “Hi welcome to Roadhouse.” Upon sitting at your table the waitress says her name and she will be serving you today as she gives you a basket filled with delicious rolls. I usually base my tip on how my waitress treats my family and the service we receive, or if I ever have to flag them down for a refill. I would rather sit down at a nice establishment to eat then sit

My wife's 93-year-old Italian grandfather made us homemade meatballs that were off-the-charts fantastic. Even my wife whips up meatballs that smoke any restaurant, along with her mother and father. So, I have had authentic homemade cuisine from an Italian family, and now feel I have a benchmark to compare the rest. As for the meatballs at the Broadway Grill, I give the spaghetti and meatball plate a 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. The restaurant overall though, deserves an A+ rating for its service, menu selections, and comfortable…

The meats are either marinated, come with sauce, or just straight as it is, with dipping oils and sauce that you can mix along with it. With that being said, the food is just delicious! Meat quality is pretty good for a place that isn’t fine dining, and anyone that loves meat is surely to find something they like on the menu. Being that I’m still in college without a job, I usually elect to go for the cheapest package, the Nevada package, and yet, I’m still able to eat really delicious food to my heart’s content. Something that some restaurants suffer from is food portions.…

Obesity rates 50 years ago were no higher than 15%, but today Mississippi and West Virginia top the charts with record numbers of 35.1% (Levi). Calories, along with many other unknown facts, can be consumed throughout the day and not burned off properly at a steady rate if no physical exercise is accounted for. In a Burger King Triple Whopper Sandwich alone, there are over half a day’s supply of calories, not including a side order and a fountain drink. However, quite an abundance of people believe that the meals all fast food places serve are loaded with junky ingredients and fat additives, but Subway, Panera, and Jason’s Deli are a few names who try to remain as fresh as possible (Oches). At Subway, the six-inch foot long with the most calories hits at 570, nearly half of the largest at Burger King.…

America is the land where a person can pay $1.50 for a juicy greasy burger, immensely salted French fries and for a dollar extra you can pay for a large carbonated drink at places, such as McDonalds and Burger King. Although that $1.50 sounds like an excellent deal, ultimately it is not towards ones health. According to the Medical Daily, a study conducted at the University of Hawaii at Manoa the professor Dian Dooley of Food Science and Nutrition found that once one consumes a oleaginous food, such as a hamburger from McDonalds, takes ninety six hours to fully digest in the body. Due to all the excessive fat contents of the hamburger, the digestive tract has to work harder. People will still purchase and eat foods highly concentrated in fat, due to reasonable prices.…

There are a few recipes that are quick and easy that I make all the time with Boca burger. The easiest recipe I make with Boca burger is tacos. I take out one packet of Boca crumbles (equivalent to one half pound of ground beef) and heat the Boca on the stove. I sprinkle Taco seasoning over the Boca to give it flavor. The Boca does not take long to heat up, only about five minutes, so I usually don't pull the Boca out of the freezer until the oven is heated up and ready for the taco shells.…

I’m shocked at how many times I have gone to McDonald’s and got nothing short of a five star meal for three dollars. I used to eat at Sonic a lot, but I don’t have time to sit for three hours and wait for cheese fries and water. If you live in De Queen, you know better than to go to sonic if you do not have more than thirty minutes of waiting time. So, if you are tired of eating Mexican, McDonald’s, and Sonic, you will probably go to Subway. If you get tired of eating at those restaurants, you might as well starve, because you will catch diseases from all of the other fast-food joints.…
