Serena Williams is a game changer because she is so determined to face her problems and stand her ground. In 1981, Serena Jameka Williams was born in Saginaw, MI. Her parents are Oracene price and Richard Williams. Right when Serena and Venus were born, Richard Williams seen his girls being successful in life. He even wrote a 78-page plan for their tennis career because he was denying that his girls were going to become successful women. Serena Williams grew up with both of her parents in her life where she was homeschooled all her life until she went to college. She attended college at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Serena Williams has nine siblings, including half-siblings. Serena has only one full blood sister which is Venus. At the age of 3, With the help of her father and mother, She learned how to play Tennis with her sister, Venus. In 2000 and in 2001, Serena had a series of injuries that made her lose a lot of matches and forced her to drop out of several tournaments. But after she recovered, Williams was unstoppable in 2002. I can apply her lessons in my life by not giving up on something that you admire. I can focus more on what I want in life and not give up.
