Arthur MIller was an American essayist and playwright in the 1950’s the cold war was so called creating a feeling of fear within the citizens and the people accused his wife for even thinking she was a so called spy with the working of Russia.So Arthur had wrote a book so he conclude this event. Arthur Miller creates the character Abigail Williams in order that she was a so called lier and a “overall” bad person.Her lies are in this quote,”Uncle we did,dance let you tell them i confessed it and i’ll be whipped if i must be.
