Crucible Abigail Williams Character Analysis

Through the Crucible by Arthur Miller, readers may start to think that Abigail Williams is the most despicable character in the crucible. Abigail in my opinion is the most despicable character in the entire play, although she has witnessed her parents’ murder. She was led to believe that John Proctor loved her. When his wife found out she fired Abigail. Eventually Abigail accuses Mrs. Proctor of witchcraft hoping she can be with John. Abigail gets other girls to help her out and fake being possessed.
When Abigail realizes that she can get the other girls to fake being possessed, they begin to accuse everyone they hate of witchcraft. At the trials, the girls all act like they’re being possessed by repeating everything the victim says, or faking
