Self-Evaluation Reflection

(Senior English)

Senior year is one the best years of high school for most students. Many seniors take all their hard curricular classes the first three years of high school, so senior year is usually a breeze. Although the classes aren’t all that difficult, many seniors have little motivation to do their work. I have a motivation issue with one class in particular. My college English class will be the death of me. I do not think my body has the capacity to write another essay or watch another video flow. I have about two weeks of school left and this should be the time where I crack down and get to work on my last few assignments, but that is not the case. I am struggling to get work done, but knowing that my next few assignments are very important, really makes me want to get good grades on them. We have done several types of assignments this year ranging from essays, annotations, novels, and poetry recitations. In my college English class I had several strengths, weaknesses and things I could have improved on.

Initially, my strengths in the class include; organization, attendance, and my ability to get a sixty percent or above on assignments. My biggest strength is organization. My binder is alway getting too full because of all of our read/write packets. The way I solve this problem is to have a second binder.
