Over the past three months, class ENC1101 has taught me some major lessons in English writing. My expectation coming into this class was to become a better writer, at least in my eyes. The different writing assignments were helpful to me using research and asking questions when I was stuck. My progression has included me writing essays, MLA format as well as discussing classmate’s papers, and becoming open to others criticisms about my work. Most importantly I have learned how important English is. Another important thing I learned about the flow of a paper is the conventions of grammar and not using pronoun words Such as I, My, We and stating my opinion. Although I did not feel as though I had much of a problem, it was still useful to restore
