This varies with thought provoking people contributing to the success of the overall goal of the organization. C & R Supermarket’s objectives of quality, customer satisfaction and revenue can only come to fruition when all obstacles are weighed against the strategies and tactics of both the employees and management.

Roles will continue to remain the same even though there is cross training in certain areas. The cross training enables people to fill department slots if someone is absent, on vacation, gets fired, or even quits. The short term effect is that each supervisor will learn the ins and outs of his or her department and be able to conduct business with an employee on a one on one monthly evaluation. The long term effect is that we hope to help employees understand their weaknesses and improve their knowledge, skills, and abilities to me a more productive worker. They can become too routine and people will take them for granted. That is why a constant switch up of positions on a monthly basis helps to provide suggestions for improvements to each list. The short term impact is that it will provide workers a guideline to train new individuals. The long term impact is that it should help to make the daily operations of C & R Supermarket in California, MO become like a well-oiled machine.
