Review The Competencies That Support Effective Performance Management

In reviewing the competencies that support effective performance management provided by the US Office of Personnel Management. I would say that my greatest strengths are communicating, giving feedback, coaching, and developing, and recognizing. I think these skills are very important for employees to understand what is expected of them, what they can improve on and building morale. I correlate the measuring employee performance competencies to the yearly employee appraisals that we have in my office and believe this is one thing that I can improve on.
