The American College of Health Executives Health Executive competencies assessment tool is used to assess the expertise of health care in the critical areas of health management. The health executives can assess themselves, and then they can have their supervisor using the tool to assess them after which they will compare the results. The assessment tool has five competency domains which include Communication and Relationship Management, Leadership, Professionalism, Knowledge of the Healthcare Environment, and Business Skills and Knowledge. The domain of communication and relationship management ensures that the leader can clearly communicate with all the customers, can found and maintain healthy relationships, and enable constructive interactions
