(Description of the conflict)
In this summer, I traveled to Shanghai with my family. Shanghai is really a nice place for visit, including the food, views, etc.… However, we have happened something really bad during our trip in airport. We traveled with Hong Kong Airlines HX 236 on 23/7 in the morning at the departure time 08:15am, but due to air route flow control in mainland China we have been delayed totally 6 hours. (Effective listening) About the five stages of listening, in first step – receiving, hearing, attending. I need to pay attention of what the others are talking about in verbal or nonverbal messages and avoid distractions in the environment, like the case that I am talking with the staff during the noise from broadcasting. In the second step- understating, I need to understand the speaker’s messages from their points, I need to understand that air route flow control is set up by China that really not her issue. In the third step – remembering, I need to summarize what the staff has just said and keep repeat the key concepts. In the fourth step- evaluating, I do not jump to my opinions after I have heard her messages and try to judge what she just said, think that the goodwill. The last step- responding, by giving the staff a feedback and give respond and try to solve the problem, like telling her your wants and
